New Horizon?

A fortification has sat on this horizon since c.420ad and the current castle has been ever present for over a thousand years, yet each new visitor must still look upon this wonder and not help but think of the history and the changes this horizon has seen over the centuries… I am entering this as my inspired ‘New Horizon’ in the Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge.

H2O – Water Fall

Water falling over the ‘Edge’ of the stepping stones across the River Wansbeck in Northumberland, England. I am entering it into the Daily Posts Photo Challenge – H2o, I could have used it as my entry for Edge but liked my original post.

The View from the Pew….

It was a really beautiful day for a visit on the bike to Seahouses, however the view from todays pew is of the 8th hole (I think) at Seahouses Golf Club, a fantastic tranquil spot along the Northumberland coast which sits just over an hour north of Newcastle and about the same to the south of Scotland…..
